Money coming in

ive had a lot of work lately which of course is wonderful. I get paid on Thursday so am really looking forward to seeing the numbers. It's going to be good to get on top of a few bills, set some aside for Christmas and even buy some of the gifts for the family we only see on Christmas Day where we buy a token item. I'll be looking in the supermarket catalogues to see what else is on offer.
I'm hoping for things different to the usual biscuits and chocolates but still trying to keep within my tight budget of under $10 per adult. The teen kids all get a voucher Netflix / iTunes  etc and a block of chocolate. I pick them up nearer the time so they get a full year out of the voucher though I'm doubtful tht they ever last that long with them!

I hie to get our summer holiday paid for as well. I'm mindful that I don't get any pay over the long school holidays so need to get some things sorted with this money to put it to good use! Swimming fees will be coming in soon too, must get tht paid ASAP

Bills to pay

Weekend reflection

Daylight savings started on Sunday, we went forward an hour. The boys came into our room totally dioriented about the time. I got up almost straight away as I always find with them the best way to sort their body clocks out is with their meals so breakfast got underway.

We spen most of the day outside, I was mowing, hubs was on the roof emptying the gutters, boys were playing soccer, helping move things from my mowing route and generally pottering about. It was a good day. I moved their soccer nets to a part of the garden that joins our neighbours in the hopes that all 4 kids might have a kick about when they stop for a chat at the gate. Had a short chat with my neighbour then wandered off as the rain started to come down. It was nice to catch up as I haven't seen her for 2 weeks. By now it was gone 5 pm!

Summer uniforms laid out for the children, shoes polished, bags packed, water bottles filled and most importantly summer hats in the bags. Dinner, packed lunches, and bed for the boys. Hubs settled down to some work and I drifted in and out of sleep before calling it quits around 10pm and heading to be.

school holidays reflection

We went away to NSW the weather was beautiful for us, high 20s, no need to be the sunscreen nazi most days.

All washing has been done on return. The house has had a good tidy.
The caravan has had a clean on our return. We have looked at getting a new one, currently we are thinking about a 22ft jayco outback discovery with an extended draw bar. I'm really after something with a toilet in it. I notice that I get up and go to the toilet a minimum of 2x per night with a full bladder. Often it's a trek to the toilet block which as the temp drops overnight often means I'm cold when I get back and struggle to get to sleep. Being wake overnight is not ideal!

We came back and normal life continued, boys on the bikes, play dates etc. working on Cubs badges. The local supoermarket has Ben giving out free seed pots with every $30 spent so the youngest has been working  on his gardener badge and planting those. Today we need to do some pruning and weeding then we can pass the info onto Akela so he can get the badge.

All the ironing is done and put away

I'm trying to get back on the keto lifestyle. I find my bursitis is far more manageable when I do it properly. Whether it's the weight loss, the not eating of carbs or the reduction of eating inflammatory foods that helps I have no idea but I do know that I feel so much better when doing it!

Trying to get ready for work once school goes back. Looking forward to seeing what opportunities arise for me.
